Special Thanks

Hello Everyone:

It gives me great pleasure to be able to give you GREAT news on our container status this time around.

We received our container last week Monday. We are still sorting through all the many different blessings. Tonight we worked until 9:00 just sorting clothes. Wow there were a LOT of clothes!! We have been so blessed.

It was funny to watch both the children and staff the day the container arrived. Although I did not hear the truck pull up with this 40 ft. container, I knew it was out there. Everything became quiet and ALL eyes were peeking out the window. The children were funny to listen to as they tried to figure out what this thing might be. One of the ladies who works for HCH said that she has never seen anything so big in all her life!

We are preparing now for the "next flood" that we are being told will come sometime this month or June as this is our rainy season. If the conservasy dam breaks away then that will expel 1-2 Billion gallons of water!! That will be about 5 feet of water and will affect the entire East Coast!!! Please continue to pray for us. We can't prevent the flood but we know better this time how to prepare.

I've attached a photo of the children around the "Great Blessing" so that you can see just what it is you were giving to. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. No words could ever express how grateful we are to each and every one of you. May God bless your efforts and may he forever receive the glory, honor and praise for all the good work that has been accomplished through your love.

P.S. We are experiencing MANY difficulties with our ISP. If you know of anyone who donated to the container and our needs at HOPE, please take a moment to share this note to them. Not everyone who we are sending mail to is receiving it. On the same thought, we are not receiving many of our e-mails being sent to us. If you have sent any mail in the past 2 months and we have not responded, chances are we did not receive it.
