Hello to Everyone,

I must begin by saying thank you for praying for HOPE and the children there. I know that you have been praying for us because so many good things are happening!!
We are laden with so much good news we are bursting at the seams to share it with you. Firstly, let us say how we are so very proud of our school children. Of the 36 children we have going to school, all thirty-six passed their Easter Term Test!! This is so rewarding for the children, for me and for our teachers who work so very hard with them. Some struggle and some excel, but we are proud of them all for their hard work and their continual climb upward towards being the best they can be.

We want everyone to know that HOPE is now online!! We are so excited about our new web site and want you to be a part of that excitement too. Please check us out at www.hope-childrens-home.org We would appreciate it if you would just send us a note to let us know what you think of it. We pray that this will be a great tool in helping us to gain support for the home and our special needs that will change from time to time. We have a few loose ends but we soon will have all that taken care of. Check us out!

We were recently invited to Vero Beach church of Christ in Florida, USA where Kenneth was the guest speaker on their special Missions Day. It was a super day and many hearts were touched. We were amazed at the generosity of the Christians there. Because of their giving hearts, HOPE has $20,000 to start the building fund for our new and larger home. The elders at Vero have agreed that they will take on the enormous task of raising the funds for this building project. It is estimated that this new building will cost US $300,000 for construction. Many of you have asked for Dominic and Angela, Shawn and Junior. The three siblings are doing just absolutely dynamic!! I couldn’t ask for better progress. Shawn has spoken 1 word but he has just blossomed in so many other ways. I feel the speech will come later…in his own time. Dominic is a little man now J He is now 15 pounds, trying to crawl around, cutting teeth coming and going and ….is saying “ma-ma”. Those precious words warm my heart more than you can imagine. There were so many times I thought he would die in my arms. To hear those words is a blessing. He will be 2 years in August. Just praying that he can be able to stand up on his own by that time.
