HOPE Children's Home is one of several community outreach programs the Enmore church of Christ has in Guyana. Below we have outlined the four programs that rely heavily on sponsorship.
 

HOPE Children's Home

Located in Guyana, SO.A., HOPE Children's Home has been home to over 40 children. Over the past 3 years, our mission has been and continues to be "To offer HOPE to the abused, abandoned and neglected children of Guyana and to help rebuild relationships between children and their families, through unconditional love and the promises of our Almighty God. Community Based Rehabilitation Program (CBR)
The physically handicapped in Guyana have struggled for years against the negative social and political attitudes toward them. Three years ago, the Enmore church came in contact with this group of wonderful and inspiring people and have been working with them to assist in their rehabilitation process. Medical Missions
Each year, the church of Christ in Guyana is richly blessed by the number of doctors and nurses who donate their services to the village and surrounding villages. The amount of people seen and treated with free medication in one weeks time is incredible. The contacts that are made are valuable to us, the Church. Vacation Bible school

The first week in August God blesses us with over 500 children who come to learn about HIM. Our VBS is a time for Bible stories, children's worship/action songs, crafts and skits. We anticipate a "better than ever" VBS August 2-6, 2004. Click here for photos and more information.
